Student Communication and Notices

Registration Confirmation Notice

Upon completion of online registration, participants will receive a registration confirmation e-mail (if an e-mail address was provided) indicating receipt of registration. If course enrollment requires approval and/or is pending receipt of payment for all agencies, a participant may receive a second notice approving enrollment into the course once payment has been received and verified. The confirmation notification e-mail includes information concerning the class date(s), start time(s), location, and any other information related to the class.

Lodging and meals are not included in tuition. ALL students are responsible for their own travel costs and arrangements.

Class Status Notice

The decision concerning the status of a class is typically made as noted below:

  • Classroom and online education courses
NFHTA will send participants an e-mail confirming registration at least 14 calendar days prior to the class start date.  Participants should not make non-refundable travel reservations for classroom courses before receiving the registration confirmation notification.
  • Class is full or has been rescheduled
If a class is full or has been rescheduled, participants will be notified by a customer service representative.
  • Cancellation notification
If a class is cancelled due to weather, other emergency, or low enrollment, participants will receive an e-mail as soon as possible notifying them the class has been cancelled.
